Green step at Bhopal International Airport, electrifying with solar energy

The panels setup are capable of producing approximately 1.5 Lakh units of electricity per year, leading to a reduction of 106 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.

Gautam solar, solar panel manufacturer, with help of Newsol PV Power Pvt. Ltd has successfully installed 10BB solar panels at Raja Bhoj international Airport Bhopal. As per official data, these solar panel together will generate 1.5 Lakh units of electricity per year, leading to a reduction of 106 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually. These panels are mono half-cut solar panel that signifies its efficiency and using advanced technology in manufacturing process.

Ensuring use of every available space at Bhopal Airport for solar panel installation, company set up panels on airport rooftop, parking area and designated area for residence of airport staff. Running Bhopal international airport on solar energy is a significant step towards promoting the use of clean energy and reducing the carbon footprint of the airport.
